Anna Lyons and Louise Winter want to change how we converse about death. Through their organization LifeDeathWhatever.com, the two women are making that happen.
Anna is an end of life doula, and Louise is a progressive funeral director. The Life.Death.Whatever website describes their mission to “redesign the dialogue around death and dying, to open it up and to find new approaches to this important subject. We believe that death is a normal part of life and dying is part of living. Acknowledging and accepting that one day we will die is fundamental to living a full life. It's as simple and as complicated as that.”
Louise and Anna believe in the power of healing through sharing stories, and the website offers a way to do that through the “Sharing 5 Things” as well as a blog. Read more about the work of Life.Death.Whatever and share your own “5 Things” that you’ve learned about death.
