Adults aren’t the only ones who deal with grief. Today we’re talking about resources for kids who are experiencing their own grief journeys. At The Coalition to Support Grieving Students website, you’ll find resources for supporting the special grief needs of kids, remembering developmental and cultural influences. The Coalition provides educational materials and videos for teachers, school administrators and support staff, as well as family and community members. If you’re a support person for a child or teen who’s experienced a loss, you can benefit from the information on the grievingstudents.org website. The resources are free, and video content is provided by the USC School of Social Work. Find out how you can support the children and teens in your community and schools at grievingstudents.org. There’s more information on grief, bereavement, and end of life care at theheartofhospice.com. Get in touch with us via email to host@theheartofhospice.com. Your journey matters - you are The Heart of Hospice.
