In the last episode of our series on grief with LPC Chuck Olliff, our conversation centers around a “mixed bag” of grief emotions. It’s not unusual to feel anger, shame, guilt, or sexual grief. If your loved one (or a patient) committed suicide, there are lots of various emotions to manage.

Chuck teaches us that anger is a secondary emotion, often related to an original grief emotion. He tells us that missing the sexual intimacy that’s part of our close relationships is normal, regardless of age or illness, and implies a healthy, loving relationship.
